Joseph M. Flynn, CPA

Joe joined Howland Capital in 1990, after a career with Ernst & Young, where he served as a Tax Partner. At Howland Capital he provides tax consulting.

Joe graduated with an A.B. from Harvard College and an MBA from Columbia University. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and former Officer and Director of this society. He is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Joe currently serves as Governor Emeritus of the Handel & Haydn Society. He also served the Handel & Haydn Society as Treasurer for 28 years and as Governor for 32 years. In the past, Joe served on the Board of the Carroll Center for the Blind and was an Adjunct Professor at both Suffolk University and Bentley University. Joe is a United States Army veteran and in his personal time, enjoys classical music.
