We are pleased to announce that Faisal Butt, CFA, FRM, has joined the firm as a Senior Research Analyst/Assistant Portfolio Manager.
Faisal assists in the portfolio management process in addition to providing in-depth fundamental analysis, thematic research and ESG analysis.
Prior to joining Howland Capital, Faisal headed the data analytics team at RMR, a leading U.S. alternative asset management company with over $30 billion in AUM. Additionally, he covered consumer discretionary stocks at Amundi Pioneer and was instrumental in raising over $2 billion in assets for its large cap growth mutual fund. Faisal also covered consumer and industrial companies at Surveyor Capital, Columbia Threadneedle and KeyBanc Capital Markets. He began his career working at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
Faisal lives in Winchester with his wife and two sons. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, running, and reading.
